January 29, 1977About
Justin Hartley was born in Illinois in 1977. After majoring in history and theater at the Southern Illinois University Carbondale and the University of Illinois at Chicago, the actor landed his first role in 2002, portraying Fox Crane on Passions until 2006.
In 2008, Hartley became a regular Smallville cast member, followed by guest roles in Hart of Dixie, Revenge and Mistresses. He went on to play Adam Newman on The Young and the Restless from 2014 to 2016 before being cast as Kevin Pearson in NBC’s This Is Us, which led the former soap star to an Emmy nomination.
Harley has one daughter named Isabella, whom he welcomed in 2004 with his then-wife, Lindsay Korman. The former couple have been coparenting Isabella since their 2012 split. Hartley moved on from the eight-year marriage with Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause, but filed for divorce two years after their 2017 wedding. The actor cited “irreconcilable differences,” claiming that he and the reality star had broken up in July 2019.
Us confirmed in May 2020 that Hartley is now dating his former The Young and The Restless costar Sofia Pernas. News broke in May 2021 that the pair secretly tied the knot.
